Brooklyn, NY (February 10, 2021) — Project N95 announced that Dr. Rob Handfield has joined the Board of Directors. Dr. Handfield is a thought-leader in Supply Chain management and will bring his unmatched experience in the industry to help the organization get personal protective equipment (PPE) into the hands of those who need it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

“Dr. Handfield is an important voice in supply chain management and will advise us on how to continue getting PPE sourced, shipped, and delivered to essential workers as we expand our organization,” said Anne Miller, executive director of Project N95. “We are thrilled to have him on the team.”

Dr. Handfield is the Bank of America University Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management at North Carolina State University and director of the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative at the university. He has served as an Advisor to the General Services Administration, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and more than 25 Fortune 500 companies on supply chain response. Dr. Handfield is an accomplished author, with his most recent books, The Living Supply Chain, Supply Chain Re-Design and Introduction to Supply Chain Management, frequently referenced by companies globally. Dr. Handfield earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School.
